Introduction
HKT Studio respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, used, shared, retained, and protected when you use mobile applications published by HKT Studio. The exact data collected may vary by application, feature, device platform, settings, permissions, and the services you choose to use.
This policy is written for users of our mobile applications and is intended to support privacy disclosures required by major app stores, including Apple App Store and Google Play.
Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to all HKT Studio mobile applications, related app features, support communications, and this developer policy website. It does not apply to third-party websites, stores, SDKs, advertising networks, payment processors, or services that are not controlled by HKT Studio.
Information We Collect
Depending on the application and features you use, we may collect the following categories of information:
- Information you provide: account details, display name, email address, profile settings, app preferences, support messages, feedback, survey responses, and content you choose to create, upload, save, or submit.
- Device and app information: device model, operating system version, app version, language, time zone, approximate region, device identifiers, installation identifiers, and mobile network information.
- Usage information: app launches, screens viewed, buttons tapped, feature usage, session duration, referral source, subscription state, and similar interaction data.
- Diagnostic information: crash logs, performance data, error reports, debug information, and technical events used to improve stability.
- Approximate location: general location inferred from IP address or device settings, where allowed and needed for app functionality, analytics, security, or advertising.
- Purchase information: product identifiers, subscription status, transaction status, and entitlement information provided by app stores or payment processors. We do not receive your full payment card details.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information unless a specific app feature requires it and you choose to provide it.
Sources of Information
We collect information directly from you, automatically from your device and app usage, and from service providers that help us operate our applications. If an app supports sign-in with Apple, Google, or another third-party account, that provider may share limited profile information such as your name, email address, or account identifier according to your choices and the provider's rules.
How We Use Information
We may use information to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve our applications.
- Create and manage accounts, preferences, subscriptions, and app settings.
- Sync data, remember choices, and personalize app features.
- Respond to support requests, bug reports, feedback, and feature requests.
- Analyze usage trends, diagnose crashes, measure performance, and improve reliability.
- Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, and policy violations.
- Send service messages, technical notices, updates, and important app-related information.
- Show, measure, or limit advertising where an app includes ads.
- Comply with legal obligations, app store requirements, and enforce our terms.
App Permissions
Some applications may request access to device features only when they are relevant to app functionality. Examples include notifications, camera, photos or media library, microphone, location, contacts, calendar, files, Bluetooth, health-related APIs, motion sensors, or storage. Permission prompts are controlled by your operating system, and you can change permissions in your device settings at any time.
If you deny a permission, the related feature may not work, but the rest of the app may continue to function where possible.
Analytics and Diagnostics
We may use analytics and diagnostic tools, including services such as Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics, Apple diagnostics, Google Play Console diagnostics, or similar tools. These services help us understand app usage, improve user experience, identify crashes, and fix technical issues.
Analytics and diagnostics may include device information, app version, interaction events, crash traces, performance data, and approximate location. These tools may use cookies, app instance identifiers, advertising identifiers, or similar technologies where permitted by platform rules and your settings.
Advertising
Some HKT Studio applications may display advertising. Advertising partners may collect or receive information such as advertising identifiers, device information, approximate location, app activity, ad interactions, and frequency data to deliver, measure, personalize, or limit ads.
Where required, we will request consent before using data for personalized advertising. You can limit ad tracking or reset your advertising identifier in your iOS or Android device settings. Some apps may show contextual ads that are based on app content rather than personal profiling.
In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
If you purchase a paid app, subscription, or in-app product, payment is usually processed by Apple App Store, Google Play, or another payment provider. We may receive limited purchase metadata needed to unlock features, validate receipts, prevent fraud, restore purchases, provide customer support, and maintain subscription status. Billing information is handled by the payment provider according to its own privacy policy.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the applications, support users, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and preserve legitimate business records. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and the reason it was collected.
When information is no longer needed, we will delete, anonymize, or aggregate it where reasonably possible. Some backup, diagnostic, legal, or transaction records may remain for a limited period.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures may include access controls, encryption in transit where appropriate, limited data access, monitoring, and regular review of our practices.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will provide notice when required by applicable law.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, update, delete, restrict, export, or object to processing of your personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
You can exercise many choices through your device settings, app settings, app store account, advertising settings, notification settings, and permission controls. To make a privacy request, email proptitd14@gmail.com. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity before completing a request.
Residents of regions with specific privacy laws, including the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, California, and other jurisdictions, may have additional rights under applicable law.
Children's Privacy
Our applications are not intended for children under the minimum age required by applicable law unless an individual app clearly states otherwise and provides the required safeguards. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate consent. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review and delete it where required.
International Transfers
We and our service providers may process information in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have privacy laws that differ from those in your location. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date or last updated date on this page. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice in the relevant app, through the app store listing, or by other reasonable means.
Your continued use of our applications after an updated policy becomes effective means the updated policy applies to your use of the applications.
